Abstract
Tujuan penelitian empiris ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan Good Corporate Governance terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan. CGPI (Corporate Governance Perception Indexs) yang merupakan hasil survei yang dilakukan oleh IICG digunakan untuk mengukur Good Corporate Governance dan variabel kontrolnya adalah komposisi aktiva, kesempatan pertumbuhan dan ukuran perusahaan. Kinerja keuangan perusahaan diukur dengan ROA, ROE dan EPS. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan publik yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang mengikuti survei CGPI yang berjumlah 67 perusahaan dan menggunakan 10 perusahaan publik yang masuk ke dalam sepuluh besar CGPI tahun penghargaan 2007-2009 sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa good corporate governance tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja untuk operasional dan pasar perusahaan. Komposisi asets tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja untuk operasional dan pasar perusahaan. Kesempatan pertumbuhan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja untuk operasional dan pasar perusahaan. Ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja untuk operasional dan pasar perusahaan.
English Abstract
The purpose of this empirical study is a investigate the influence of implementation of good corporate governance to the public companies performance. CGPI (Corporate Governance Perception Index) which represent result of survey conducted by IICG methods is used to measure of good corporate governance and its control variable is assets composition, opportunity growth and company size. In this research The Corporate Performance is measured by ROA, ROE and EPS. The population in this research is 67 public companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange which follow survey of CGPI and use 10 public companies which into ten is big of year award CGPI 2007 until 2009 as a sample. The technic of analysis use multiple linier regression analysis and the hypothesis test use t test. The result of this research show that: good corporate governance has insignificant effect to corporate for operational and market performance. Assets composition has insignificant effect to corporate for operational and market performance. Growth opportunity has insignificant effect to corporate for operational and market performance. Company size has insignificant effect to corporate for operational and market performance.
