Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat perilaku aggressive driving pengendara sepeda motor terkhususnya young driver jika ditinjau dari sisi usia (remaja dan dewasa awal). Jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 orang pengendara sepeda motor, yang terdiri dari 100 pengendara remaja dan 100 pengendara dewasa awal di kota Surabaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala aggressive drivingyang mengacu dari 3 aspek aggressive driving yang dikemukakan oleh James & Nahl (2000) dan berjumlah 21 item. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, oleh karena signifikansi < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak atau terdapat perbedaan tingkat aggressive driving pada pengendara sepeda motor usia remaja dan dewasa awal di kota Surabaya yang signifikan.
English Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the difference of aggressive driving behavior level of motorcyclist especially young driver when viewed from the side of their age (adolescence and early adulthood). The sample size is 200 motorcyclists, consisting of 100 teenage riders and 100 early adult riders in the city of Surabaya. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling type purposive sampling. Data collection method using aggressive driving scale which refers from 3 aspects of aggressive driving proposed by James &Nahl (2000) and amounted to 21 items. Data analysis using independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate a significance value of 0.000, because of the significance of <0.05 wich is H0 rejected or there is a difference of aggressive driving rate in motorcycle riders teenagers and early adulthood in the city of Surabaya is significant.
