Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh tingkat status sosial ekonomi keluarga pada hubungan tingkat partisipasi keg. simulasi tanggap bencana Tsunami terhadap tingkat pemahaman kebencanaan di dukuh sidem. Dukuh Sidem merupakan salah satu wilayah yang dinyatakan rawan bencana Tsunami karena letaknya berada pada pesisir pantai Sidem yang berbatasan langsung dengan Samudera Hindia. Sehingga, beberapa kali kantor BPBD Kab. Tulungagung melaksanakan keg. simulasi tanggap bencana Tsunami di Dukuh Sidem. Oleh sebab itu, menarik untuk melihat bagaimana hubungan tingkat partisipasi keg. simulasi terhadap tingkat pemahaman kebencanaan yang dipengaruhi juga oleh tingkat status sosial ekonomi masyarakat Dukuh Sidem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis Rank Kendall. Konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep status sosial ekonomi, konsep partispasi, dan konsep pemahaman. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kepala keluarga di Dukuh Sidem dengan jumlah 146 sampel yang dipilih dengan berdasarkan teknik Random Sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai angka signifikasi sebesar 0,000, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa tingkat partisipasi keg. simulasi tanggap bencana Tsunami (X) memiliki hubungan terhadap tingkat pemahaman kebencanaan (Y). Jadi dalam penelitian ini, Ho ditolak atau terdapat hubungan antara variabel X terdahap variabel Y pada α 0,05. Kemudian jika dilihat dari angka koefisien korelasinya menunjukkan angka 0,607, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa angka 0, 607 pada koefisien korelasi ini positif. Hubungan tingkat partisipasi keg. simulasi tanggap bencana Tsunami dan tingkat pemahaman kebencanaan masuk pada kategori 0,40<KK<0,70, dimana kedua variabel tersebut memiliki hubungan yang cukup berarti namun sedang. Akan tetapi ketika variabel tingkat status sosial ekonomi keluarga sebagai variabel Z dimasukkan, nilai angka signifikasi hubungan variabel tingkat partisipasi keg. simulasi tanggap becana Tsunami (X) dan variabel tingkat pemahaman kebencanaan (Y) menjadi semakin kuat. Yaitu menunjukkan nilai angka signifikasi sebesar 0,778. Sehingga pada penelitian ini dapat dikatakan bahwa sebagai variabel penekan atau suppressor variable dikarenakan angka korelasi variabel Z terhadap variabel X dan Y lebih besar dibandingkan angka korelasi variable X dan Y, yaitu 0,778 > 0,607.
English Abstract
This study discusses the influence of the level of family social economic status on the relationship of level of simulation activity participation of Tsunami disaster response to the level of disaster understanding in sidem hamlet. Sidem hamlet is one of the areas declared as a disaster prone area because of its location is located on the Sidem coast which is directly adjacent with the Indian Ocean. Thus, several times, the BPBD office of Tulungagung District conducted tsunami disaster response simulation activity in Sidem Himlet. Therefore, it is interesting to see how the relationship of participation level of simulation activity to level of disaster understanding which is influenced by level of social economic status of society in Sidem Himlet. This research uses quantitative method with Rank Kendall analysis. The concept used is the concept of social economic status, the concept of participation, and the concept of understanding. Population in this research is all head of family in Sidem Himlet with 146 sample selected by Random Sampling technique. The result of this study indicated the value of the significance number of 0.000, so it can be said that the participation level of tsunami disaster response simulation activity (X) has a relationship to level of disaster understanding (Y). So in this study, Ho is rejected or there is a relationship between variable X to variable Y at α 0.05. Then if seen from the correlation coefficient number showed the number 0.607, it can be said that the number 0, 607 on the correlation coefficient is positive. The relationship of participation level of tsunami disaster simulation and disaster understanding is included in the category 0.40 <KK <0.70, where both variables have moderate relation. However, when the variable of level of family social economic status as a variable Z is included, the value of the significance number of the relationship of the variable of participation level of tsunami disaster response simulation activity (X) and variable of level of disaster understanding (Y) become stronger. That showed the value of the significance number of 0.778. So in this study can be said that as a variable suppressor due to the number of correlation variable Z to variable X and Y greater than the correlation of variable X and Y, that is 0.778> 0.607.
