Abstract
Lesbian merupakan salah satu bentuk orientasi seksual yang dianggap menyimpang pada masyarakat kita. Keberadaan lesbian sendiri kini tak hanya dapat dijumpai di kota besar saja namun juga merambah ke kota menengah seperti Kota Malang. Pada hubungan lesbian tidak berbeda dengan hubungan heteroseksual karena hubungan keduanya didasari oleh rasa suka. Salah satu point penting dalam hubungan cinta adalah keintiman. Keintiman yang muncul dalam sebuah hubungan juga mendorong terjadinya komitmen berupa pilihan politis bersama pasangan serta kenikmatan yang dimaknai berbeda oleh setiap individu. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemaknaan kenikmatan oleh kelompok lesbian dan dorongan keintiman terhadap munculnya pilihan politis. Konsep yang digunakan adalah keintiman dan teori dari Judith Butler performivitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Pengambilan data dilakukan kepada enam subjek pasangan lesbian dengan menggunakan teknik pemilihan informan purposive, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah proses individu menjadi seorang lesbian dilatar belakangi oleh faktor, baik berupa faktor internal maupun eksternal. Adapun 3 faktor utama yang menjadi dasar mengapa individu menjadi lesbian adalah trauma, pergaulan dan keluarga. Keintiman yang terwujud dalam hubungan memunculkan adanya kenikmatan yang dirasakan oleh individu lesbian baik secara fisik dan non fisik. Keintiman juga melahirkan komitmen yang mana komitmen ini berupa pilihan politis yang menjadi tujuan mempererat hubungan di masa depan dan juga menjadi dasar saat menjawab mengenai benturan isu heteronormatif yang ada di masyarakat.
English Abstract
Lesbian is one form of sexual orientation that is considered deviant in our society. The existence of lesbian itself is now not only can be found in large cities but also penetrated into the middle town like Malang. In the lesbian relationship is not different from heterosexual relationship because the relationship is based on the feeling of love. One important point in a love relationship is intimacy. The intimacy that arises in a relationship also encourages the commitment of a political choice with the couple and the enjoyment that is interpreted differently by each individual. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the meaning of enjoyment by lesbian groups and impulse of intimacy of the emergence of political choices. The concept used is the intimacy and theory of Judith Butler's performance. This research uses qualitative approach of phenomenology. The data were collected on six subjects of lesbian couples using purposive informant selection techniques, using in-depth interview data collection techniques. The results in this study is the individual process of being a lesbian background by factors, both in the form of internal and external factors. The 3 main factors that become the basis of why individuals become lesbians are trauma, association and family. The intimacy embodied in the relationship brings about the enjoyment felt by lesbian individuals both physically and non-physically. Intimacy also creates a commitment in which this commitment is a political choice that serves to strengthen relationships in the future and also becomes the basis when answering the clash of heteronormative issues in society.
