Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran identitas sosial terhadap konformitas pada FPI Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini melibatkan 113 anggota FPI Jawa Timur. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan jenis teknik accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala identitas sosial mengacu pada teori Tajfel (Ellemers, Kortekaas & Ouwerkerk, 1999), dan alat ukur yang digunakan pada skala konformitas mengacu pada teori Sears (2005). Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (p) adalah 0.000 (p < 0.05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peran identitas sosial terhadap konformitas pada FPI Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi variabel identitas sosial terhadap variabel konformitas adalah 19.1% sedangkan 80.9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.
English Abstract
The research aimed at knowing the role of social identity toward conformity on member of FPI East Java. The research involved 113 member of FPI East Java. The sample taking by using accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used is social identity scale reference by Tajfel (Ellemers, Kortekaas & Ouwerkerk, 1999). The measuring instrument at the conformity scale reference by Sears (2005). Data obtained then be processed by using linear regression analysis. The results showed that the significance value (p) of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is role of social identity toward conformity at FPI East Java. The results showed that the social identity variable contribution toward conformity variable was 19.1% while 80.9% influenced by others.
