Abstract
Register adalah variasi bahasa yang digunakan dalam kelompok sosial untuk meringankan komunikasi. Bigreds Kediri adalah salah satu komunitas yang menggunakan register dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Register digunakan untuk berbagi informasi tentang peristiwa komunitas dan lainnya. Dalam hal ini, penulis tertarik untuk menyelidiki register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri di Grup Facebook. Selain itu, untuk mengidentifikasi dari mana kata-kata itu berasal atau apa bentuk asli dari kata-kata tersebut, penulis juga menganalisis proses pembentukan kata dari register tersebut. Ada tiga masalah dalam penelitian ini, mereka adalah. (1) Apa register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri di Grup Facebook? (2) Apa arti register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri di Grup Facebook? (3) Apa kata proses formasi register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri di Grup Facebook? Jenis penelitian kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis dokumen yang berupaya mengidentifikasi materi, dalam hal ini adalah percakapan di antara anggota Bigreds Kediri di Grup Facebook. Penulis menganalisis percakapan di antara anggota dalam kelompok Facebook yang terkait dengan sepak bola dari 4 Januari 2015 hingga 4 April 2015. Tanggal ini diambil karena pada saat itu ada banyak masalah yang akan dibahas, seperti rumor transfer pemain sepak bola, Pertandingan besar, dll. Dalam menganalisis makna register, penulis membaginya menjadi dua, yaitu makna umum dan makna tertentu. Setelah itu, penulis mengklasifikasikan register itu ke dalam proses formasi kata. Penulis menemukan 33 register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri di Grup Facebook. Beberapa register memiliki makna umum, sementara beberapa yang lain tidak memiliki makna tertentu. 33 register itu diklasifikasikan ke dalam proses pembentukan kata. Mereka adalah 2 akronim, 4 blending, 9 pinjaman, 2 konversi, dan 16 proses. Register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri sebagian besar ditemukan dalam informasi acara komunitas. Pendiri Bigreds Kediri menggunakan formasi Word untuk membujuk anggota untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan apa pun. Register yang digunakan oleh Bigreds Kediri memiliki banyak fungsi kepada masyarakat. Selain itu digunakan untuk mengkarakterisasi ketiri Bigreds dari komunitas lain, itu juga digunakan untuk meningkatkan hubungan yang lebih baik di antara para anggota selain pentingnya mendukung Liverpool sebagai klub favorit mereka. Di sini, penulis menyarankan penulis berikutnya menganalisis register di komunitas lain dengan minat lain, sehingga dapat memberikan pengetahuan baru tentang bahasa yang digunakan oleh masyarakat yang ada di Indonesia.
English Abstract
Register is a variation of language which is used in social groups to ease the communication. BIGREDS Kediri is one of the communities using register in their daily life. The registers are used to share information about community’s events and others. In this case, the writer is interested in investigating the registers that are used by BIGREDS Kediri on Facebook group. Moreover, in order to identify where the words come from or what the original forms of the words are, the writer also analyze word formation processes of those registers. There are three problems in this study, they are; (1) What are the registers used by BIGREDS Kediri on Facebook group? (2) What are the meanings of registers used by BIGREDS Kediri on Facebook group? (3) What are the word formation processes of registers used by BIGREDS Kediri on Facebook group? The type of qualitative research used in this study is document analysis which attempts to identify the material, in this case is the conversation among members of BIGREDS Kediri on Facebook group. The writer analyzed the conversation among members on Facebook group related to football from January 4th, 2015 until April 4th, 2015. These dates are taken because at that time there are a lot of issues to be discussed, such as football players’ transfer rumors, big matches, etc. In analyzing the meaning of registers, the writer divided it into two, namely common meaning and particular meaning. After that, the writer classified those registers into word formation processes. The writer found 33 registers used by BIGREDS Kediri on Facebook group. Some registers have common meaning, while some others do not have particular meaning. Those 33 registers were classified into word formation processes; they are 2 acronym, 4 blending, 9 borrowing, 2 conversion, and 16 multiple processes. The registers which were used by BIGREDS Kediri were mostly found in the community event’s information. The founder of BIGREDS Kediri used word formation in order to persuade members to participate in any activities. The registers used by BIGREDS Kediri have many functions to the community. Besides it is used to characterize BIGREDS Kediri from other communities, it is also used to rise a better relationship among members aside from the importance of supporting Liverpool as their favorite club. Here, the writer suggests the next writer analyze register in other communities with other interests, so it can give new knowledge about the language that is used by communities that are existed in Indonesia.
