Abstract
Penelitian ini mengangkat tentang bentuk pandangan kosmos pada masyarakat Suku Lio di Desa Moni, Kecamatan Kelimutu, Kabupaten Ende, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur terkait keberadaan Danau Kelimutu sebagai penentu kehidupan sehari-hari Suku Lio di Desa Moni serta relasinya dengan ritual Kematian. Masyarakat Suku Lio mempercayai bahwa setiap roh yang meninggal akan mendiami Danau Kelimutu kemudian setelahnya roh-roh tersebut akan terus mengawasi mereka dan mendiami lingkungan sekitar mereka. Sehingga untuk menghormatinya maka dibuatlah ritual kematian yang disebut Pati Ka Konde. Ritual Kematian Pati Ka Konde merupakan ritual yang dibuat untuk menghormati ayah(konde) karena ia selalu memberikan tanda dari perubahan warna Danau Kelimutu ketika akan terjadi suatu peristiwa yang tidak hanya menimpa desa Moni. tetapi juga negara. Jenis dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-etnografi berlokasi di Desa Moni. Bentuk pandangan kosmos masyarakat Suku Lio terkait keberadaan Danau Kelimutu terdiri atas penyebutan Danau Kelimutu sebagai Kampung arwah ini dikarenakan Danau Kelimutu dalam sistem kepercayaan masyarakat merupakan sebuah kampung atau tempat roh-roh orang yang telah meninggal akan mendiami danau tersebut. Kemudian masih terkait tersebut adalah keberadaan roh-roh gaib, masyarakat Suku Lio mempercayai bahwa alam ini yang menempati adalah roh-roh gaib. Roh-roh tersebut dipercaya ada yang bersifat jahat yakni merusak dan yang bersifat baik yakni menjaga. Adanya tanda-tanda hubungan manusia dan kelimutu berupa mimpi tentang orang yang akan meninggal yang dialami oleh kerabatnya. Hubungan alam dan budaya dalam ritual, berkaitan dengan hal tersebut tercemin di dalam pelaksanaan ritual Pati Ka Konde yang dijalankan oleh masyarakat Suku Lio di Desa Moni dengan selalu memanfaatkan alam sekitarnya dalam pelaksaannya.
English Abstract
This research raised about the shape of the view of the Cosmos on a tribe in the village of Moni, Lio Sub-district Kelimutu, Ende, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, linked the existence of Lake Kelimutu as arbiter of everyday life in the villages of Moni Lio Tribe as well as his relations with the rituals of death. Tribe Lio believed that every spirit who died will inhabit Lake Kelimutu then later these spirits will continue to keep an eye on them and inhabiting the environment around them.So in her honor then harsher death rituals called Pati Ka Konde. Death rituals Starch Ka Bun is a ritual that was made in honor of father (konde) because he always gives the sign from the Lake Kelimutu colour change will happen when an event that not only override the village Moni.but also the country. The type and approach that is used is Moni kualitatif-etnographic in the village. The form of the views of the community related to the existence of the tribe of the comos Lio lake Kelimutu consists of the mention of lake Kelimutu as their those medium who have familiar was because the lake Kelimutu in a system of belief by public is a town or place the benevolent spirits of the who died will inhabiting the lake has. Then still to be taken is the presence of the unseen sprits, the community the tribe of Lio believe that is the one who is worthy unseen spiritswho occupies. The spirits trusted evil namely there is a destructive and that it is keeping. The relationship between humans and there is no Kelimutu dream about people are gonna die experienced by close of kind to him. Natural relations and culture on rites, in this regard in the implementation of the ritual starch Ka Konde who run by communities the tribe of Lio in the village Moni with always make use of the natural surroundings in individual.
