Abstract
Pesisir Desa Pernajuh merupakan salah satu pesisir yang menjadi kandidat untuk perencanaan pembangunan pelabuhan peti kemas. Pembangunan pelabuhan peti kemas dimulai pada tahun 2011 dan rencananya akan dikembangkan hingga tahun 2020. Tahapan pembangunan pelabuhan telah memasuki tahap reklamasi lahan seluas 100 hektar di atas pantai dan areal bersandarnya kapal-kapal sepanjang 250 meter menjorok ke laut untuk pembangunan proyek “Pelabuhan Madura International Seaport-City (MIS-C)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik sedimen terkait dengan daya dukung kawasan dan karakteristik lingkungan pengendapan serta kondisi dari hidro-oseanografi yang dapat mempengaruhi distribusi sedimen di pesisir tersebut. Analisis data menggunakan analisis granulometri, analisis segitiga Shepard dan diagram Hjulstrom. Titik lokasi dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pesisir Desa Pernajuh memiliki ukuran butir sedimen dengan nilai (φ) 2,9 – 5,73 serta jenis sedimen dominan adalah pasir dengan campuran fraksi halus (lanau dan lempung). Kondisi hidro-oseanografi Pesisir Desa Pernajuh yaitu memiliki arus berkisar antara 0,2-0,83 m/s dengan arah dari barat laut menuju ke selatan, tinggi gelombang berkisar 0,03-0,10 m dengan periode berkisar 2,88-7,34 s dan memiliki tipe pasang surut harian tunggal. Distribusi sedimen cenderung fraksi pasir dengan campuran fraksi halus (lanau dan lempung), tersortir sangat baik (very well sorted), penyimpangan distribusi ukuran butir sedimen condong ke arah partikel sedimen halus (very fine skewed) dan pola penyebaran sedimen didominasi oleh jenis sedimen tertentu (very leptokurtic) serta transpor sedimen cenderung mengalami transport in suspension pada 9 titik penelitian dan diikuti dengan erosi di 4 titik lainnya.
English Abstract
Coastal of Pernajuh village was one of the coastal candidates for the development planning of container ports. The construction of the container port started in 2011 and it was planned to be developed until 2020. The port development stage has entered the reclamation of 100 hectares of land on the coast and the area of ships relying along the 250 meters jutting into the sea for the construction of the project "Madura International Seaport-City (MIS-C) ". This study aims to determine the characteristics of sediment associated with the carrying capacity of the area, the characteristics of the deposition environment and the conditions of the hydro-oceanography that can affect the distribution of sediments in the coast. Data analysis used granulometry analysis, Shepard triangle analysis and Hjulstrom diagram. The location point was chosen by purposive sampling method. The results showed that the coastal of Pernajuh village had sediment grain size with value (φ) 2.9 – 5.73 and dominant sediment type was sand with mixture of fine fraction (silt and clay). The condition of hydro-oceanography had a current ranged from 0.2-0.83 m / s with direction from northwest to south, wave height was ranged from 0.03-0.10 m with period ranged from 2.88-7.34 s and it had a diurnal tidal type. Sediment distribution tended to the fraction of the sand with a mixture of fine fractions (silt and clay), very well sorted, deviation of sediment grain size distribution toward very fine skewed particles and patterns of sediment deployment dominated by certain sediment types (very leptokurtic) and sediment transport tended transport in suspension at 9 research points and erosion at 4 other points.
