Indonesian Abstract

Tanaman terung (Solanum melongena L.) mengalami penurunan produksi karena degradasi lahan akibat penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara intensif tanpa diimbangi dengan masukan bahan organik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kombinasi pupuk hayati dan pupuk anorganik N, P, K terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman terung. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2016 hingga Februari 2017, di Kelurahan Merjosari, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang dengan ketinggian tempat 500 mdpl. Penelitian menggunaan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yaitu: P0: kontrol, P1: NPK 100%, P2: pupuk hayati, P3: pupuk hayati + NPK 25%, P4: pupuk hayati + NPK 50%, P5: pupuk hayati + NPK 75%, P6: pupuk hayati + NPK 100%. Variabel yang diamati ialah pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun dan jumlah cabang) dan hasil panen (bobot kering tanaman, jumlah buah dan bobot segar buah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuh hayati dan NPK mampu meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah cabang, bobot kering tanaman, jumlah buah dan bobot segar buah. Pemberian pupuk hayati dapat mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik NPK sebesar 25% dengan menghasilkan bobot segar buah 46,35 ton/ha dibandingkan dengan pupuk NPK 100% dengan nilai RAE> 100% dan R/C> 1.

English Abstract

Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) was decreased in production cause by land degradation due to intensive used of inorganic fertilizer without added organic materials. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the combination of biofertilizer and inorganic fertilizer N, P, K on the growth and productivity of eggplant. The research was conducted in October 2016 until February 2017, in Merjosari Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City with altitude 500 m above sea level. The research used Randomized Block Design (RBD) method, ie: P0: control, P1: NPK 100%, P2: biofertilizer, P3: biofertilizer + NPK 25%, P4: biofertilizer + NPK 50%, P5: biofertilizer + NPK 75% P6: biofertilizer + NPK 100%. The variables observed were growth (plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and number of branches) and yield (dry weight of plant, number of fruit and fresh weight of fruit). The results showed that the treatment biofertilizer and NPK can increase plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of branches, dry weight of plant, number of fruit and fresh weight of fruit. Biological fertilizer application can reduce the use of NPK by 25% by producing fresh weight of 46.35 ton/ha and dry weight of plant 220,98 g/plant compared with 100% NPK fertilizer with RAE > 100% and R/C > 1.
