Indonesian Abstract

Pencemaran laut merupakan masuknya atau dimasukkannya limbah dari kegiatan makhluk hidup ke dalam suatu perairan laut, seperti kegiatan industri. Logam berat merupakan salah satu bahan pencemar berbahaya karena sifatnya yang tidak mudah diuraikan. Salah satu biomarker perairan adalah tiram (Saccostrea glomerata) yang bersifat sebagai filter feeder yang digunakan sebagai hewan uji dalam kegiatan pemantauan lingkungan perairan pada tingkat akumulasi logam berat terhadap organisme. Metallothionein adalah protein yang mengikat logam berat daam jairngan setiap makhluk hidup. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif.. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran logam berat Pb di insang tiram didapatkan hasil pada Pantai Damas adalah sebesar 0,0249 ppm, Pantai Karanggongso didapatkan nilai rata-rata yaitu 0,0264 ppm dan PPN Prigi sebesar 0,0436 ppm. Untuk rata-rata nilai logam berat timbal (Pb) tertinggi pada insang Tiram (Saccostrea glomerata) terdapat di PPN Prigi, sedangkan untuk nilai rata-rata logam berat timbal (Pb) terendah pada insang Tiram (Saccostrea glomerata) terdapat pada Pantai Damas. Nilai rata-rata intensitas MT pada Pantai Damas 147,269 intensity/μm, Pantai Karanggongso adalah 160,94 intensity/μm, dan PPN Prigi adalah sebesar 233,116 intensity/μm dengan demikian, niai rata-rata intensitas MT pada insang tiram (Saccrostrea glomerata) tertinggi yaitu pada PPN Prigi. Hasil analisa regresi linier berganda yang dilakukan menghasikan nilai 0.6846 yang menunjukan bahwa peningkatan intensitas metallothionein juga diikuti dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi kandungan logam berat timbal (Pb).

English Abstract

Marine pollution is the entry or inclusion of waste from the activity of living things into a marine waters, such as industrial activity. Heavy metal is one of the hazardous pollutants due to its nature which is not easy to decipher. One of the marine biomarkers is oysters (Saccostrea glomerata) which is a filter feeder used as a test animals in watershed environmental monitoring activities at the accumulated level heavy metals against organisms. Metallothionein is a binding protein heavy metals and tissues of every living creature..The method of this research is descriptive method. Based on the measurement results. Heavy metal Pb in the gills of oysters obtained results on Damas Beach is equal to 0,0249 ppm, Karanggongso Beach got average value that is 0,0264 ppm and PPN Prigi of 0.0436 ppm. For the highest mean lead metal (Pb) value on the gill Oyster (Saccostrea glomerata) is present in the PPN Prigi, whereas for the average value of heavy metal lead (Pb) is lowest in the Oyster gills (Saccostrea Glomerata) is found on Damas Beach. Mean value of MT intensity on Damas Beach 147.269 intensity/μm, Coast Karanggongso is 160.94 intensity/μm, and Prigi PPN is 233,116 intensity/μm thus, the average of MT intensity in the oyster gills (Saccrostrea glomerata) is highest on PPN Prigi. Result of linear regression analysis . Multiply performed to produce value of 0.6846 which shows that the increase of metallothionein intensity also followed by the increase of concentration of heavy metal of lead (Pb).
