Indonesian Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan workplace bullying ditinjau dari budaya organisasi tipe birokrasi dan tipe market. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif dengan melibatkan sebanyak 87 partisipan untuk budaya birokrasi dan 61 partisipan untuk budaya market pada 10 perusahaan atau instansi yang terlibat. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah dengan metode nonprobability sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data menggunakan skala budaya organisasi yaitu OCAI dari Cameron dan Quinn (2006) yang sudah di apdaptasi oleh Aji (2015) dan skala workplace bullying yaitu NAQR dari Einarsen (2011) yang sudah di adaptasi oleh Kharisna (2014). Dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis independent sample t-test, didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada workplace bullying antara budaya birokrasi dan budaya market. Dimana budaya market memiliki rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan budaya birokrasi.

English Abstract

This study focuses on the workplace bullying differences reviewed from hierarchy and market type of organizational culture. This study was comparative research with total 87 participants for hierarchy culture and 61 participants for market culture in 10 different organization that were recruited using non-probability sampling technique. Data were gathered using scale of organizational culture (OCAI) from Cameron and Quinn (2006) which has been adapted by Aji (2015) and scale of workplace bullying (NAQ-R) from Einarsen (2011) which has been adapted by Kharisna (2014). Using independent sample t-test to test hypotheses, it was found that there is a difference in workplace bullying between hierarchy culture and market culture. Where market culture has a higher mean on workplace bullying than hierarchy culture.
