Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan jenis kanker yang bermula dari sel-sel di payudara yang tidak normal dan terus tumbuh sehingga membentuk benjolan. Pertumbuhan sel yang terjadi selama terus menerus dapat menyebabkan tingkat keparahan yang dapat berlanjut, sel-sel akan menyebar (metastasis) pada bagian tubuh yang lainnya sehingga akan berdampak pada kematian. Individu dengan kesejahteraan psikologi akan mampu menghadapi berbagai peristiwa dalam hidup dengan lebih baik dan memiliki kebermaknaan hidup. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasy experimental dan desain penelitian ini berupa non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Juni 2017. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 104 pasien dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 16 pada kelompok kontroil dan 16 pada kelompok perlakuan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian logoterapi. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah kesejahteraan psikologis. Variabel confounding dalam penelitian ini adalah karakteristik responden yang terdiri dari usia, status perkawinan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan stadium kanker payudara. Analisa data menggunakan uji independent T-test dan regresi linier. Hasil uji ststistik didapatkan nilai-p sebesar 0,000 di mana nilai p < α (0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa antara kelompok perlakuan sesudah diberikan logoterapi dan kelompok kontrol sesudah diberikan penyuluhan kesehatan terdapat perbedaan. Hasil uji regresi linier didapatkan nilai p-value pada logoterapi sebesar 0.000 (p<0.05) yang berarti logoterapi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis pada pasien kanker payudara dengan nilai R-square logoterapi sebesar = 0.785 bermakna bahwa ada sekitar 78.5% pengaruh logoterapi terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis pasien kanker payudara setelah dikontrol dengan variabel yang lain. Bagi institusi Rumah Sakit diharapkan logoterapi sebagai salah satu terapi yang dapat diberikan kepada pasien sehingga pasien dapat memaknai hidupnya.

English Abstract

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that originates from cells in the breast that is not normal and continue to grow to form a lump. Growth of cells that occur during continuous can cause sustained levels of severity, cells will spread (metastasize) on other parts of the body that will impact on death. Individuals with psychological well-being will be able to deal with events in life better and have meaningful lives. The research design used was experimental quasy and the design of this research was non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted from May to June 2017. The study population was 104 patients and the study sample was 16 in the control group and 16 in the treatment group. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The independent variable in this research is the provision of logotherapy. Dependent variable in this research is psychological welfare. Confounding variables in this study are the characteristics of respondents consisting of age, marital status, education, occupation, and stage of breast cancer. Data analysis used independent T-test and linear regression test. The result of ststistic test is obtained p-value of 0,000 where p <α (0,05) so that it can be concluded that between treatment group after given logotherapy and control group after giving health education there are differences. The result of linear regression test showed that p-value on logoterapi was 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that logotherapy has a statistically significant effect on psychological well-being in breast cancer patients with R-square logoterapi value of = 0.785 means that there is about 78.5% influence Logotherapy on the psychological well-being of breast cancer patients after being controlled with other variables. For hospital institution is expected to be logotherapy as one therapy that can be given to patient so that patient can interpret its life.
