English Abstract

This final project discusses the construction and dynamical analysis of mathematical model of Snapchat. This model is a system of nonlinear differential equations. Dynamical analysis is performed by finding the equilibrium points and theirs locally stability properties. The basic reproduction number (ℛ0) is also derived. Dynamical analysis shows that there are three equilibrium points, namely the free-user of Snapchat equilibrium, the persistent user equlibrium, and the endemic equilibrium. The free-user equilibrium is locally asymtotically stable when satisfies ℛ0 < 1 and another condition; the persistent user equlibrium is locally asymtotically stable when satisfies ℛ0 > 1 and another condition. The endemic equilibrium is locally asymtotically stable when satisfies the Routh-Hurwitz Criterion. Numerical simulation supports the results of dynamical analysis.
