Indonesian Abstract

Acinetobacter baumannii merupakan salah satu bakteri penyebab infeksi nasokomial dan resisten terhadap berbagai macam antibiotik, diantaranya golongan karbapenem. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu terapi yang berasal dari tumbuhan seperti daun Rambutan. Daun rambutan memiliki kandungan aktif yaitu flavonoid, saponin, tannin, dan polfenol. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek dari pemberian ekstrak daun rambutan terhadap Acinetobacter baumannii. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode difusi sumuran. Konsentrasi daun rambutan yang digunakan adalah 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% 40%, 50% dan 60% dengan empat kali pengulangan. Berdasarkan penelitian pada semua konsentrasi uji tersebut didapatkan zona hambat. Hasil dari uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji homogenitas Lavene didapatkan nilai yang signifikan (p>0,05). Hasil dari uji analisis One-Way ANOVA Test menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan p=0,000 (p<0,05). Pada uji korelasi Pearson didapatkan nilai koefisien p=0,095 yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang kuat dengan arah positif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin meningkatnya konsentrasi ekstrak daun rambutan maka semakin besar juga zona hambat yang terbentuk. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah ekstrak etanol daun Rambutan dapat berpotensi sebagai antibakteri terhadap Acinetobacter Baumannii secara in vitro.

English Abstract

Acinetobacter baumannii is one of the bacteria that cause nasocomial infections and is resistant to various classes of antibiotics. Carbapenem antibiotics are one of the treatments to overcome the bacterial infections caused by Acinetobacter baumannii. Thus, a new theraphy from plants such as Rambutan leaves is needed. Rambutan leaves has active ingredients such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and polyphenols. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of rambutan leaf extract to Acinetobacter baumannii in vitro application. The method used in this study was True experimental, with well diffusion method. The concentration of Rambutan leaf extract used was 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% 40%, 50% and 60% with four repetitions. Based on the research on all the test concentrations the inhibitory zone was found except 0% concentration. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test obtain a significant value (p> 0.05) and Lavene homogeneity test obtained a significant value (p> 0.05). The results of the One-Way ANOVA Test analysis showed a significant difference p = 0,000 (p <0.05) in concentration changes of the zone of bacterial growth of the Acinetobacter baumannii bacteria. In the Pearson correlation test, the coefficient p = 0.095 shows that there is a strong relationship with a positive direction. It can be concluded that the higher concentration of Rambutan leaf extract, the bigger diameter of inhibition zone formed. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Rambutan leaf extract has an antibacterial against the Acinetobacter Baumannii
