Indonesian Abstract

Penelitian karakterisasi dinamika tremor telah dilakukan di daerah panas bumi Cangar, Komplek Gunungapi Arjuno-Welirang, Jawa Timur. Survei mikrotremor digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk merekam sinyal tremor dalam 3 komponen (komponen Up-Down, East-Sourth dan North-West). Data yang digunakan adalah data rekaman mikrotremor pada bulan Juni 2015, Mei dan November 2016, serta Mei 2018. Analisis spektral dan analisis nonlinear dilakukan terhadap kejadian sinyal tremor untuk melihat bagaimana karakteristik dinamika sistem fluida panas. Sinyal tremor diidentifikasi sebagai tremor spasmodik dengan nilai frekuensi dominan yang didapatkan adalah 8.16 - 24.97 Hz. Identifikasi lebih lanjut menggunakan analisis nonlinear dilakukan dengan cara merekonstruksi ruang fasa untuk memperoleh diagram atraktor yang kemudian digunakan untuk menentukan nilai dimensi fraktal dan koefisien lyapunov. Penggambaran diagram atraktor didasarkan pada parameter waktu tunda dan dimensi embedding. Nilai waktu tunda diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode Informasi Mutual (IM) dan autokorelasi, sedangkan nilai dimensi embedding diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode False Nearest Neighbour (FNN). Nilai waktu tunda dan dimensi embedding yang digunakan dalam menggambarkan diagram atraktor adalah 0,01s - 0,04s dan dimensi 7-10. Hasil dimensi fraktal tremor yang diperoleh pada sistem panas bumi di daerah Cangar memiliki nilai yang cukup tinggi, yaitu 5,43 - 6,29. Sedangkan nilai koefisien lyapunov tremor yang didapatkan di daerah panas bumi Cangar yaitu 0,015 - 0,031. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem panas bumi pada daerah Cangar memiliki perilaku chaos dan bersifat deterministik. Mekanisme pembentukan tremor di daerah panas bumi Cangar diduga berasal dari pemanasan fluida hidrotermal.

English Abstract

Research on dynamical characterizations of tremor had been carried out in the Cangar geothermal area, Arjuno-Welirang Volcano Complex, East Java. Microtremor surveys used in this study to record tremor signals with three components (Up-Down, East-Sourth and North-West component). The data used were microtremor recording data in June 2015, May and November 2016, and May 2018. Spectral and nonlinear analyzes have been carried out to signal tremors to see how characteristics of a dynamical hot fluid system. The tremor signal was identified as a spasmodic tremor with the dominant frequency value obtained was 8.16 - 24.97 Hz. Identification was further carried out by nonlinear analysis by reconstructing the phase-space to obtain an diagram attractor which was then used to determine the value of fractal dimensions and lyapunov exponents. Diagram attractor depiction is based on the parameters of the delay time and embedding dimension. The value of delay time was obtained by using Mutual Information and autocorrelation methods, while the dimension embedding value was obtained by using the False Nearest Neighbor (FNN) method. The value of the delay time and the embedding dimensions used in phase-space were 0.01s - 0.04s and dimensions 7-10. The results of the fractal dimensions of tremor obtained in the Cangar geothermal systems have a fairly high value, that were 5,43 - 6,29. While the Lyapunov Exponent tremor in the Cangar geothermal system were 0.015 - 0.031. This shows that the geothermal system in the Cangar area has chaotic behavior and deterministic properties. The generation mechanism of tremors in the Cangar geothermal area was thought originate from the hydrothermal fluid boiling.
