Indonesian Abstract

Pendahuluan: Waktu tunggu pelayanan obat racikan di Unit Farmasi Rawat Jalan RSK Mojowarno Jombang belum pernah mencapai standar. Intervensi waktu tunggu dilakukan dengan pendekatan lean berupa integrasi TI (Teknologi Informasi) yang bertujuan untuk menggantikan penulisan etiket manual dengan e- Etiket. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh intervensi integrasi TI terhadap rerata Turnaround Time (TAT), komposisi value, dan waste pada waktu tunggu pelayanan obat racikan. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain pre eksperimental pada bulan Oktober 2018 dan Februari 2019 di Unit Farmasi. Sampel penelitian sebesar 382 resep obat racikan rawat jalan serta 28 petugas Unit Farmasi pada data sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Pengamatan langsung menggunakan daftar tilik dan lembar observasi untuk mengukur TAT dan value. Lembar kuesioner dilengkapi oleh responden untuk mengukur waste. Analisis uji perbedaan menggunakan t-test dan uji non-parametrik. Hasil: Penerapan integrasi TI menimbulkan perbedaan signifikan rerata TAT (p = 0,000), komposisi value (p = 0,000), dan waste (p = 0,000) waktu tunggu pelayanan obat racikan. Kesimpulan: Penerapan intervensi dengan pendekatan lean menurunkan rerata TAT, meningkatkan komposisi value, dan mengurangi waste waktu tunggu pelayanan obat racikan.

English Abstract

Introduction: The waiting time of compounding medicine services in Outpatient Pharmacy Unit of Mojowarno Jombang Christian Hospital (MJCH) has never reached standard. The waiting time intervention is carried out by lean approach in the form of IT (Information Technology) integration which aims to replace manual labeling writing with “e-Etiket”. The research objective is to examine the effect of IT integration interventions on mean Turnaround Time (TAT), value composition, and waste in waiting time of compounding medicine services. Methods: The research used a pre-experimental design in October 2018 and February 2019 in the Pharmacy Unit. The research sample was 382 outpatient compounding prescriptions and 28 Pharmacy Unit employees for each data of before and after the intervention. Checklist and observation sheet were used by direct observation to measure TAT and value. Questionnaire sheets are completed by respondents to measure waste. Analysis of the difference test using t-test and non-parametric test. Results: The implementation of the IT integration intervention gave a significant difference in mean TAT (p = 0,000), values composition (p = 0,000), and waste (p = 0,000) at the waiting time of compounding medicine service. Conclusion: The implementation of intervention by lean approach decreases mean TAT, increases values composition, and reduces waste in waiting time of compounding medicine services.
