Indonesian Abstract

Industri minuman sari buah juga termasuk industri pangan yang memiliki potensi pencemaran lingkungan dari limbah yang dihasilkannya. Limbah minuman sari buah yang dihasilkan belum sesuai dengan baku mutu air sesuai peraturan pemerintah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui debit limbah yang dihasilkan, mengetahui baku mutu air limbah yang dihasilkan, mengetahui kondisi eksisting IPAL dan mendapatkan desain IPAL. Hasil analisa air limbah yang dilakukan di PERUM JASA TIRTA didapatkan kandungan BOD 427 mg/L, COD 1.393,3 mg/L, TSS 242,7 mg/L, pH 5,1, untuk menangani masalah limbah cair tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam teknologi. Sebagai contoh teknologi yang digunakan adalah pengolahan dengan kombinasi sistem anaerob dan aerob. Berdasarkan kriteria air limbah yang dihasilkan ditentukan pengolahan anaerob menggunakan sistem biakan aliran turun (downflow attached growth) dan pengolahan aerob menggunakan sistem biakan melekat terceklup aliran turun (downflow submerged attached growth processes) Hasil dari perencanaan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah ini berdasarkan efisiensi yang direncanakan pada setiap bak maka didapatkan perkiraan kualitas effluent BOD 5,07 mg/L, COD 16,55 mg/L, TSS 0,26 mg/L, pH 6,7. Kualitas effluent ini sudah sesuai dengan baku mutu air limbah berdasarkan Keputusan Gubernur Jatim Nomor 72 Tahun 2013 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah Bagi Industri dan/atau Kegiatan Usaha Lainnya

English Abstract

Beverage industry also includes the food industry which has the potential for environmental pollution from the waste it produces. Beverage Industry produced is not in accordance with water quality standards according to government regulations. This research was conducted to find out the waste discharge produced, knowing the quality standard of wastewater produced, knowing the existing condition of Watewater Treatment Plan and getting the design of Watewater Treatment Plan. The results of the analysis of wastewater carried out at PERUM JASA TIRTA obtained the content of BOD 427 mg / L, COD 1,393.3 mg / L, TSS 242.7 mg / L, pH 5.1, to deal with the problem of liquid waste can be done with various kinds technology. For example, the technology used is processing with a combination of anaerobic and aerobic systems. Based on the criteria for wastewater produced anaerobic treatment is determined using a downstream growth system (attached growth downflow) and aerobic processing using a growth system attached to the downflow submerged attached growth processes. The results of the planning of this Wastewater Treatment Plant are based on the planned efficiency of each tank so that the estimated quality of BOD effluent is 5.07 mg / L, COD 16.55 mg / L, TSS 0.26 mg / L, pH 6.7. The quality of this effluent is in accordance with waste water quality standards based on East Java Governor Decree Number 72 of 2013 concerning Waste Water Quality Standards for Industries and / or Other Business Activities.
