Indonesian Abstract

Jumlah pelanggan dan profitabilitas dapat dijadikan perbandingan bagaimana score pada Global Innovation Index negara Indonesia. Semakin bertambahnya jumlah pelanggan perusahaan telekomunikasi dan semakin baiknya rasio profitabilitas tersebut, akan mempengaruhi ranking dan score Global Innovation Index yang diperoleh negara Indonesia. Semakin banyak jumlah pelanggan menunjukkan semakin banyak pula penduduk yang memiliki akses terhadap Information Communication and Technologies atau ICT di suatu negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh jumlah pelanggan terhadap Global Innovation Index dan mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap Global Innovation Index. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara jumlah pelanggan dan profitabilitas terhadap ICT Access, serta terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara jumlah pelanggan dan profitabilitas terhadap ICT Use.

English Abstract

The number of customers and profitability can be used as a comparison of how the score on Global Innovation Index country Indonesia. A growing number of customers increasing telecommunications companies and getting good profitability ratios, will affect the ranking and score in the Global Innovation Index gained country Indonesia. The more number of customers showed a growing number of residents also have access to Information and Communication Technologies or ICT in a country. The purpose of this research is to know and explain the influence of the number of customers towards a Global Innovation Index and find out and describe the influence of profitability against Global Innovation Index. The results of this research show that there are simultaneous influences between the number of customers and profitability towards ICT Access, and there is a simultaneous influence between the number of customers and profitability towards ICT Use.
