Abstract
Analisis regresi merupakan metode yang sering digunakan untuk mengetahui bentuk hubungan antara satu variabel bebas dengan satu atau lebih variabel tak bebas. Regresi Tobit merupakan analisis regresi yang digunakan untuk mendekati masalah variabel tak bebas yang akibat sifat terbatasnya menjadi bernilai nol untuk beberapa pengamatan dan bernilai positif untuk selainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi prestasi belajar mahasiswa FMIPA. Prestasi belajar yang dimaksud adalah IPK dari mahasiswa. Semua uji asumsi pada penelitian ini terpenuhi dan berpengaruh kecuali uji parameter secara parsial yaitu pada variabel keaktifan mengikuti organisasi dan uang saku perbulan tidak berpengaruh. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu penduga koefisien dari variabel yang bertanda negatif yaitu variabel lama pendidikan ayah dan uang saku per bulan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel tersebut memberikan penurunan terhadap IPK mahasiswa FMIPA tahun angkatan 2014-2016. Sedangkan penduga koefisien dari variabel yang bertanda positif yaitu prioritas pilihan terhadap jurusan sekarang, jumlah organisasi yang diikuti, lama pendidikan ibu, lama jam belajar, dan persentase Kehadiran. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa variabel tersebut memberikan peningkatan terhadap IPK mahasiswa FMIPA tahun angkatan 2014-2016.
English Abstract
Regression analysis was a method that often used to determine the form of the relationship between one independent variable with one or more dependent variables. Tobit regression was a regression analysis used to approach the problem of dependent variables which impact from a limited trait that was to be zero for some observations and positive for others. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that affect the learning achievement of FMIPA students. The learning achievement was students GPA. All assumptions test in this study were fulfilled and effected except the partial parameter test that was on the organization liveliness variable and monthly allowance has no effect. The results obtained were the coefficient estimates of the negative-signified variables that was variables of father's education and monthly allowance. It was indicated that variable gives a decrease to the GPA of FMIPA students year 2014-2016. While the coefficient estimates of the positive-signified variables were the choice priority for present department, number of followed organization, the length of the mother's education, the length of the study time, and the percentage of attendance. This indicated that these variables provide an increase to the GPA of FMIPA students year 2014-2016
