Ekasanti, Agustina (2018) Pengaruh Pemberian Seduhan Tepung Kulit Mangga Manalagi (Mangifera Indica L.) Terhadap Kadar LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) Tikus Putih (Norvegicus Strain Wistar) Jantan Yang Diberi Diet Tinggi Lemak. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Indonesian Abstract

Kelompok K(-) diberi diet normal, kelompok K(+) diberi diet tinggi lemak, kelompok perlakuan P1, P2, P3 diberi diet tinggi lemak dan seduhan tepung kulit mangga manalagi masing-masing 0,4 g, 0,8 g, 1,6 g. Pemberian intervensi dilakukan selama 42 hari. Kadar LDL tikus diukur sesudah intervensi menggunakan metode Homogeneous Enzymatic Colorimetric Assay. Uji beda kadar LDL menggunakan uji- One Way Annova. Pemberian seduhan tepung kulit mangga manalagi selama 42 hari tidak memberikan perbedaan kadar LDL secara signifikan antar kelompok perlakuan (p=0,173). Selama penelitian kelompok perlakuan P3 mati semua. Hasil statistik menunjukkan bahwa kelompok K(+) memiliki kadar LDL 16,40 mg/dl, kelompok K(-) memiliki kadar 12,00 mg/dl, kelompok P1 memiliki kadar 14,50 mg/dl, Kelompok P2 memiliki kadar 10,33 g/dl. Pemberian seduhan tepung kulit mangga manalagi tidak menunjukkan perbedaan kadar LDL secara signifikan antar kelompok.

English Abstract

Coronary heart disease is a non communicable disease that has a progressive increase each year. Dyslipidemia is a main risk factor, it will increase atherogenic LDL. Manalagi mango peel contain soluble fiber are lowering LDL level. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of manalagi mango peel powder solution to LDL cholesterol levels in male Wistar rats (Rattus Norvegicus) fed with a high fat diet. This study was a true experimental research post test control group design. The sample used 30 male white rats (Norvegisus Strain Wistar) and divided into 5 groups. Group K(-) was given standard diet; group K(+) was given high fat diet; group P1 was given high fat diet and manalagi mango peel powder solution 0,4 g; group P2 was given high fat diet and manalagi mango peel powder solution 0,8 g; Group P3 was given high fat diet and manalagi mango peel powder solution 1,6 g. Intervention was given in 42 days. LDL cholesterol serum was determined using Homogeneous Enzymatic Colorimetric Assay method. Data were analysed using One Way Annova. The result showed that there were no significantly differences after intervention of mango peel powder solution for 42 days (p=0,173). During the study, all of the sample P3 group dead. The statistic result showed that LDL levels were group K (+) 16.40 mg / dl, K (-) 12.00 mg / dl, P1 14.50 mg / dl, P2 10.33 g / dl. There were no significant differences LDL levels between group after giving mango peel powder solution.
