Indonesian Abstract

Hiperbilirubinemia merupakan salah satu fenomena klinis yang paling sering ditemukan pada bayi baru lahir. Hiperbilirubinemia menyebabkan bayi terlihat berwarna kuning yang timbul akibat akumulasi pigmen bilirubin yang berwarna ikterus pada sklera dan kulit serta ditandai dengan adanya peningkatan kadar serum bilirubin ≥ 5 mg/dL. Salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan terjadinya hiperbilirubinemia adalah bayi berat badan lahir rendah (<2500 gram). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara berat badan lahir rendah terhadap kejadian hiperbilirubinemia di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) Puri Bunda Malang tahun 2016. metode penelitian ini menggunakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan case control. Sampel diambil dari data rekam medis pasien dengan jumlah sampel adalah 98 bayi yang dilahirkan di RSIA Puri Bunda Malang periode 1 Januari 2016 s/d 31 Desember 2016 dan terdiri dari 49 bayi yang mengalami hiperbilirubinemia sebagai sampel kasus dan 49 bayi yang tidak mengalami hiperbilirubinemia sebagai sampel kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis statistik Chi Square didapatkan hasil bahwa ada hubungan positif antara berat badan lahir rendah dengan hiperbilirubinemia (p=0,006, OR=5,5).

English Abstract

Hyperbilirubinemia is one of the most common clinical condition in newborns which is characterized by neonatal jaundice that showed by the discoloration of skin and sclera color to yellowish in a newborn by bilirubin and it is also characterized by an elevated serum bilirubin level of ≥ 5 mg / dL. One of the factors that can increase the occurrence of hyperbilirubinemia is low birth weight babies (<2500 grams) due to immature function of organ systems. This study aims to analyze the relationship between low birth weight to the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia in Maternal and Child Health Hospital (RSIA) Puri Bunda Malang in 2016. This study uses observationalanalytic method with case control approach. The sample was taken from patient medical records with the number of samples used in this study were 98 babies who were born in RSIA Puri Bunda Malang period 1 January 2016 s/d 31 December 2016 and consist of 49 babies who had hyperbilirubinemia as sample cases and 49 babies who did not had hyperbilirubinemia as a control sample. Based on the results of statistical analysis Chi Square obtained that there is a positive relationship between low birth weight infant with hyperbilirubinemia (p=0,006, OR=5,5)
