English Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that influence the learning outcome of the Accounting Department students in spreadsheet course by modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), in addition to other constructs of instructor feedback and course structure. The data are collected through survey towards 148 student respondents of Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Brawijaya, enrolling in Spreadsheet course. The data are analyzed by Partial Least Square Statistical Method. The results of the study show that performance expectation and attitude influence behavior intention; on the other hand, the effort expectation and perceived behavior control have no effect on behavior intention. Furthermore, performance expectation, effort expectation, perceived behavior control, instructor feedback, and behavior intention influence the learning outcome of the students in spreadsheet course, while attitude and course structure have no effect on such an outcome.
