Indonesian Abstract

Tujuan : untuk mengetahui jumlah locking screw yang dibutuhkan pada konstruksi hybrid plate , yang menerima beban cantilever bending statis pada model tulang osteoporosis dengan mengevaluasi removal torque . Bahan dan Metode: Tulang metatarsal sapi Jawa, berat 250 kg, dilakukan perlakuan dengan cara membuat fracture gap selebar 5 mm, dipasang plate 12- hole , dibagi menjadi 8 kelompok (NNN, NLN, NNNN, NLNN, NLLN,LNNL, NLNL, LNLL, tiap sisi). Untuk membuat model tulang osteoporosis maka dilakukakan over drilled , dimana lubang screw dibor 0.3 mm , lebih kecil dari diameter screw yang digunakan. Tes Bending dilakukan dengan pemberian beban yang bertambah (150N-300N-600N). Semua konstruksi menggunakan bicortical screw yang dipasang dengan besar torsi 4 N.m. Removal torque dari screw diukur sebelum dan sesudah tes bending . Dalam penelitian ini, dibuat pula model Finite Element untuk mengukur Von Miss Stress . Analisa reduksi dari Removal torque menggunakan tes ANOVA. Hasil : Hasil dari pengukuran removal torque sebelum dan sesudah bending dibandingkan dan dinilai. Kami mendapatkan pada kelompok NLN, NNNN, NLNN, NLLN, LNNL, NLNL tidak menunjukkan perbedaan removal torque yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok NNN (p0.05). Sebaliknya, kelompok LNLL menunjukkan perbedaan removal torque yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok NNN (p 0.05). Kesimpulan : Setiap sisi pada 12- hole plate membutuhkan minimal 3 locking screw pada model tulang osteoporosis.

English Abstract

Objectives: to determine the effect of number of locking screw that need to be added on hybrid plate construction, with increasing statical cantilever bending in osteoporotic bone model evaluated by removal torque. Material and methods: A metatarsal bone of Bos Javanicus, weighted 250 kg, with 5-mm simulated fracture gap was applied with 12 hole plate which were devided into 8 groups (NNN, NLN, NNNN, NLNN, NLLN,LNNL, NLNL, LNLL, respectively). To simulate the purchase in osteoporotic bone bone, all screw holes were drilled to 0.3 mm less than the diameter of the screw used. Bending test was performed with increased loads (150N-300N-600N). All constructs were used bicortical screws tightened to 4 N.m torque. Removal torque of screws was measured before and after bending test. We also made and Finite Element Model to measure Von Miss Stress . ANOVA test was used to analyze reduction of removal torque. Results: The level of removal torque before and after bending test is evaluated. NLN, NNNN, NLNN, NLLN, NLNL groups were resulting no significantly different removal torque compared to NNN group (p0.05). contrary, LNNL were showed removal torque signicantly different compared to NNN group (p 0.05) but no significantly different to NNNN group. LNLL group were showed removal torque signicantly different compared to NNNN group (p 0.05). Conclusion: Each side In 12-hole plate need at least 3 locking screw added in osteoporotic bone model.
