Abstract
SD BSS(Brawijaya Smart School) Malang memiliki ekstrakulikuler animasi yang direkomendasikan oleh sekolah untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas siswa dengan cara mengubah gambar biasa menjadi suatu gambar yang dapat bergerak. Dalam penerapannya, terdapat banyak masalah yang timbul yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Ekstrakulikuler animasi dilaksanakan pada hari-hari tertentu saat jam pelajaran aktif telah selesai. Hal tersebut menuai banyak permasalahan sehingga siswa tidak akan bisa mengikuti ekstrakulikuler animasi. Untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas siswa, dalam proyek skripsi ini, dibangun sebuah modul pembelajaran animasi sebagai media pembelajaran berbentuk website. Pembangunan prototype website dilakukan dengan cara membuat protoype. Perancangan prototype website nantinya akan menggunakan metode usability testing untuk mengetahui tingkat usability pada prototype website. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa karakteristik khusus yang digunakan dalam penelitian website untuk anak-anak. Teknik usability yang digunakan dalam perancangan prototype website yaitu design guidelines. Perancangan prototype hanya sebatas perancangan antarmuka prototype saja. Dalam pembuatan website, usability adalah syarat penting agar suatu website dapat bertahan dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Situs yang memiliki usability tinggi memiliki peluang yang sangat besar untuk sering dikunjungi oleh para pengguna internet. Hasil pengujian usability menunjukkan bahwa tingkat usability prototype pada pengujian pertama masih <70% yaitu 67,75%, Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa prototype website masih belum dapat dikatakan sebagai website yang memiliki tingkat usability yang bagus. Hasil pengujian kedua mencapai tingkat usability sebesar 75,13%.. Hasil tersebut menggambarkan bahwa prototype modul pembelajaran animasi telah memiliki tingkat usability website yang baik.
English Abstract
BSS (Brawijaya Smart School) Elemntary School Malang have an animation extracurricular that recommended by school to enhance student’s creativity by changing the ordinary image into a moving image. However, there are many problems rose due some factors. Animation extracurricular activity held on certain days after the teaching hours has been completed. That matter create a lot of of problems so that students will not be able to follow extracurricular animation.. To enhance student’s flexibilit,, in this thesis project, an animated learning modules as a learning medium shaped website . Prototype website development conducted by making a prototype. A prototype website will be designed by using the usability testing method to find the prototype website usability level. In addition, there are some special characteristics that are used in the research website for children. Design guidelines is the usability techniques used in designing the prototype website. The prototype designing will only cover prototype interface design. In website development, usability is an important requirement for a website to survive for a long time. Sites with high usability has a tremendous opportunity to be visited frequently by the internet user. The usability test results showed that the level of prototypes usability during the first testing was 67,75%, below 70%. This shows that the prototype website could not be determined as a website with good usability level. The results of the second test reached 75,13% in usability level. These results concluded that the animated learning modules prototype has a good website usability level.
