Indonesian Abstract

Selada (Lactuca sativa var. crispa) merupakan tanaman yang dapat tumbuh di daerah dingin maupun tropis. Selada memiliki daun yang bergerigi dan berombak, berwarna hijau segar dan ada juga yang berwarna merah (Sumarni, 2001). Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dibidang pertanian, produksi dan kualitas selada dapat ditingkatkan secara signifikan dengan penerapan sistem hidroponik. Budidaya sayuran daun secara hidroponik umumnya menggunakan larutan hara berupa larutan hidroponik standar (AB mix). AB mix merupakan larutan hara yang terdiri dari larutan hara stok A yang berisi hara makro dan stok B yang berisi hara mikro (Nugraha, 2014). Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perlakuan konsentrasi nutrisi ab mix dan media tanam. nutrisi hidroponik diperoleh dengan cara mencampur pupuk cair sampai larut menyatu dengan air. Media tanam yang dibutuhkan dalam hidroponik adalah media tanam yang dapat menyimpan dan membantu penyerapan nutrisi ke tanaman. Dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda maka media tanam yang digunakan juga dapat berbeda yang berpengaruh dalam penyerapan nutrisi. Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan mendapatkan konsentrasi nutrisi AB mix yang tepat dan media tanam yang cocok sehingga harapan menyimpan nutrisi lebih maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh beberapa konsentrasi nutrisi AB mix dan macam media terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah. Dan mendapatkan konsentrasi nutrisi AB mix dan media tanam yang sesuai untuk budidaya tanaman selada merah. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini ialah diduga terdapat perlakuan terbaik pada kombinasi perlakuan beberapa konsentrasi nutrisi AB mix dan media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di screenhouse yang terletak Venus Orchid desa Tegalweru Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang pada bulan September hingga November 2016. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) karena kondisi screen house yang kurang seragam. Penelitian dengan 10 perlakuan yaitu A1: Media tanam pasir + 500 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A2 : Media tanam pasir + 750 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A3: Media tanam pasir + 1000 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A4 :Media tanam pasir + 1250 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A5 : Media tanam pasir + 1500 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A6 : Media tanam cocopeat + 500 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A7 : Media tanam cocopeat + 750 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A8= Media tanam cocopeat + 1000 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A9 : Media tanam cocopeat + 1250 ppm nutrisi AB mix, A10 : Media tanam cocopeat + 1500 ppm nutrisi AB mix. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 10 polibag sehingga terdapat 300 polibag.Variabel pengamatan yang digunakan adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot segar total tanaman, bobot konsumsi tanaman. Analisa data menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Dari hasil penelitian, media tanam cocopeat dengan 1000 ppm nutrisi AB mix sudah menunjukkan bobot segar total tanaman dan bobot segar konsumsi iii yang lebih berat dibandingkan dengan 500 ppm dan 750 ppm nutrisi AB mix. Media tanam pasir dengan 1500 ppm nutrisi AB mix mampu memberikan bobot segar total yang lebih berat dari perlakuan 500 ppm, 750 ppm, 1000 ppm dan 1250 ppm nutrisi AB mix. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan perlakuan terbaik yaitu perlakuan media tanam cocopeat + 1000 ppm nutrisi AB mix. Diperoleh rerata bobot segar total pertanaman sebesar 171,64 g dengan bobot segar total standart sebesar 150 g.

English Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a plant that can be grown in cold regions or tropical. Lettuce leaves are serrated and wavy, fresh green and there are also red (Sumarni, 2001). Along with the development of technology in agriculture, production and quality of lettuce can be increased significantly with the application of the hydroponic system. Hydroponic cultivation of leafy vegetables commonly used hydroponic nutrient solution in the form of a standard solution (AB mix). AB mix a nutrient solution consisting of a nutrient solution containing stock A macro and stock B containing micronutrients (Nugraha, 2014). In this study using nutrient concentration treatments ab mix and growing media. hydroponic nutrients obtained by mixing a liquid fertilizer blend with water until dissolved. Planting medium is required in hydroponic growing media which can store and help the absorption of nutrients to the plants. With different concentrations of the growth media used can also differ influential in the absorption of nutrients. With this research is expected to get the concentration of nutrients AB mix right and suitable planting media that hopes to save the maximum nutrients. The purpose of this study was to know and study the effect of several concentrations of nutrients AB mix and types of media on the growth and yield of red lettuce. And get the concentration of nutrients AB mix and appropriate planting medium for the cultivation of red lettuce. The hypothesis of this study is that there are allegedly the best treatment in the combination treatment of multiple concentrations of nutrients AB mix and growing media on growth and yield of red lettuce. This research was conducted in screenhouse conveniently Venus Orchid Village Tegalweru District of Dau, Malang regency in September to November 2016. The study used randomized block design (RAK) because the conditions were less uniform screen house. Research with 10 treatments, namely A1: Media planting sand + 500 ppm nutrition AB mix, A2: Media planting sand + 750 ppm nutrition AB mix, A3: planting medium sand + 1000 ppm nutrition AB mix, A4: Media planting sand + 1250 ppm nutrition AB mix, A5: planting medium sand + 1500 ppm nutrition AB mix, A6: growing media cocopeat + 500 ppm nutrition AB mix, A7: growing media cocopeat + 750 ppm nutrition AB mix, A8 = Media planted cocopeat + 1000 ppm nutrients AB mix , A9: growing media cocopeat + 1250 ppm AB nutrient mix, A10: growing media cocopeat + 1500 ppm AB nutrient mix. Each treatment was repeated 3 times and each treatment consisted of 10 polybags so that there are 300 polibag.Variabel observations used were plant height, leaf number, leaf area, fresh weight of the total crop, crop consumption weights. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), when there is a real effect then continued by Least Significant Difference (LSD) at 5% level. From the research, the planting medium with 1000 ppm cocopeat AB nutrient mix already showing fresh weight and total plant fresh weight heavier consumption compared with 500 ppm and 750 ppm AB nutrient mix. Planting medium of sand to 1500 ppm AB mix of nutrients capable of providing total fresh v weight heavier than the treatment of 500 ppm, 750 ppm, 1000 ppm and 1250 ppm AB nutrient mix. From the results, the best treatment is treatment of growing media cocopeat + 1000 ppm AB nutrient mix. Retrieved mean fresh weight of 171.64 g total crop with total fresh weight standard of 150 g.
