Indonesian Abstract

Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) ialah salah satu tanaman hortikultura yang disukai masyarakat Indonesia sedangkan di beberapa negara kentang dijadikan sebagai bahan makanan pokok. Produksi kentang nasional pada tahun 2012 tercatat 1.094.240 ton dengan luas panen 66.531 ha (BPS, 2013). Sampai tahun 2012 propinsi Jawa Tengah merupakan salah satu pusat produksi dengan area tanaman kentang paling luas di Indonesia yaitu 16.102 ha dengan produksi mencapai 252.608 ton (BPS, 2013). Kabupaten Wonosobo merupakan salah satu sentra utama tanaman kentang di Jawa Tengah dengan luas areal panen 3.088 ha dan produksi mencapai 467.977 ton (BPS Jateng, 2013). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh agens hayati terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil 5 varietas tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) di dataran medium Poncokusumo Malang. Hipotesis yang diajukan ialah 1. terdapat interaksi antara pemberian agens hayati dengan macam varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil 5 varietas tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) di dataran medium Poncokusumo Malang. 2. Pemberian agens hayati dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil 5 varietas tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) di dataran medium Poncokusumo Malang. 3. 5 varietas kentang menunjukkan respon yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil di dataran medium Poncokusumo Malang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wonorejo Kecamatan Poncokusumo Malang (Dataran Medium) pada bulan Maret hingga Juni 2015. Adapun alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah cangkul, meteran, gunting, tali rafia, gembor, jangka sorong, timbangan analitik, kamera digital dan alat tulis menulis. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kentang varietas Granola Lembang, Granola Kembang, Desiree, DTO 28, Varietas Nadiya dan pupuk kotoran ayam, pupuk NPK Mutiara (16:16:16), pestisida (Propineb 70%), insektisida (Karbofuran 3%) dan agens hayati Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Streptomyces sp. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) terdiri dari 10 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Adapun perlakuannya sebagai berikut: Pemberian agens hayati sebagai petak utama (Main Plot) dengan A0 = tanpa agens hayati, A1 = Agens Hayati (Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Streptomyces sp.). Varietas sebagai anak petak (Sub plot) yaitu: V1 = Varietas Granola Lembang, V2 = Varietas Granola Kembang, V3 = Varietas Desiree, V4 = Varietas DTO 28, V5 = Varietas Nadiya. Jadi total keseluruhan dari perlakuan ada 10 perlakuan yaitu: A0V1, A0V2, A0V3, A0V4, A0V5, A1V1, A1V2, A1V3, A1V4, A1V5. Pengamatan yang dilakukan berupa pengamatan pertumbuhan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah batang dan diameter batang. Pengamatan panen (hasil) meliputi hasil umbi per petak (kg/2.1 m2), hasil umbi per tanaman (g), jumlah umbi per tanaman dan hasil umbi (ton/ha). Data pengamatan dianalisis ragam (Uji F) taraf 5 %. Apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata, maka dilanjutkan uji BNT taraf 5 %. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini ialah terdapat interaksi antara agens hayati dan macam varietas pada parameter pertumbuhan yakni tinggi tanaman 6 mst dan 8 mst, jumlah daun 8 mst dan 10 mst, jumlah batang 8 mst, diameter batang 8 mst dan 10 mst, serta pada parameter panen (hasil) yakni hasil umbi per petak (kg/2.1 m2), hasil umbi per tanaman (g) dan hasil umbi (ton/ha ). Perlakuan macam varietas menunjukkan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Hasil penelitian terhadap 5 macam varietas yang diuji, varietas Nadiya menunjukkan respon pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik di dataran medium Poncokusumo Malang dengan hasil umbi mencapai 19,72 ton/ha.

English Abstract

Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of the horticulture plants, which is liked by the Indonesian people while in some countries, it is consumed as the main food. The national production of potatoes in 2012 reached 1,094,240 tons with the area of 66,531 hectares (BPS, 2013). Until 2012, the province of Central Java was one of the production centers with the area being the largest in Indonesia i.e. 16,102 hectares, with production reaching 252,608 tons (BPS, 2013). Wonosobo was one of the potato production centers in Central Java with area being 3,088 hectares and production reaching 467,977 tons (BPS of Central Java, 2013). The aims of the research is to know the effect of biological agents to the growth and yield of 5 potato varieties (Solanum tuberosum L.) on the medium land of Poncokusumo Malang. The hypothesis is that: 1. there are different growth and yield responses to the biological agents which are applied on 5 potato varieties (Solanum tuberosum L.) on the medium Poncokusumo Malang. 2. The application of biological agents can be increase the growth and yield of potato plants on medium Poncokusumo Malang. 3. 5 potato varieties showed the different responses to the growth and yield on medium Poncokusumo Malang. The research was conducted in the village of Wonorejo Poncokusumo Malang from March to June 2015. The tools used in this research were hoe, meter, scissors, raffia, water sprayer, calipers, analytical scales, digital camera, and stationary. While the materials used were potato tubers of Granola Lembang, Granola Kembang, Desiree, DTO 28, and Nadiya, chicken manure, NPK fertilizer of Mutiara (16:16:16), pesticide (Propineb 70%), insecticide (Carbofuran of 3%) and biological agents of Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens, and Streptomyces sp. This research used split plot design (RPT) with 10 treatments and 3 replications. Biological agents as the (Main plot) as follow A0: Without biological agents, A1: Biological agents (Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Streptomyces sp.). Variety as the (Sub plot) as follows V1 = Granola Lembang, V2 = Granola Kembang, V3 = Desiree, V4 = DTO 28, V5 = Nadiya. The total was 10 treatments i.e. A0V1, A0V2, A0V3, A0V4, A0V5, A1V1, A1V2, A1V3, A1V4, A1V5. The observations conducted were the growth and yield (harvest). The growth observation included plant height, number of leaves, number of stem and stem diameter. The yield (harvest) observation included tuberous yield per plot (kg/2.1 m2), tuberous yield per plant (g), number of tubers per plant and tuberous yield (ton/ha). The observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) at the error level of 5 %. If there was a significant difference, it would be tested using Least Significant Difference (LSD) at the level of 5%. The result was that there was an interaction between biological agents and types of varieties for the growth parameters of plant height (6th and 8th weeks after planting), number of leaves (8th and 10th weeks after planting), number of stems (8th week after planting), stem diameter (8th and 10th weeks after planting),and for the yield (harvest) parameters of tuberous yield per plot (kg/2.1 m2), tuberous yield per plant (g) and tuberous yield (ton/ha). Meanwhile, the variety factor showed a significant difference to all the observed parameters. The result was that types of 5 varieties tested, Nadiya variety showed the best growth and yield on medium land Poncokusumo Malang with the tuberous reaching 19,72 ton/ha.
