Indonesian Abstract

Tanaman tomat merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan karena mempunyai nilai ekonomis cukup tinggi dan memiliki potensi ekspor yang besar. Masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh petani tomat adalah tingginya harga pupuk anorganik. Selain itu, penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara terus menerus dengan dosis yang lebih tinggi dari rekomendasi akan berdampak negatif yaitu menurunnya tingkat kesuburan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pemberian kompos kotoran sapi dan paitan terhadap hasil produksi tomat dan mengetahui perbandingan pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tomat antara aplikasi kombinasi kompos kotoran sapi dan paitan dibandingkan aplikasi pupuk anorganik. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh pemberian kompos kotoran sapi dan paitan terhadap hasil produksi tomat dan Pemberian macam dan komposisi pupuk organik yang sesuai dapat menunjukan pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi benih tomat yang lebih baik dari pada tanaman yang diberi pupuk anorganik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2012 di Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Maghfiroh, Jl. Joyo Agung nomor 2 Tlogomas Kota Malang, dengan ketinggian tempat 429 – 667 mdpl dan kisaran suhu antara 22,2°C – 24,5°C. Alat yang digunakan adalah :cangkul, sabit, pisau, gembor, penggaris, ember besar, meteran, timbangan, baki, dan oven. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan adalah benih tomat local varietas Karina, pupuk anorganik Urea (45% N), SP36 (36% P2O5), KCl (60% K2O) tanaman paitan segar, kotoran sapi, pestisida organik, dan ajir. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan, yaituP0 = Anorganik (urea 0,526 ton/ha-1 + SP36 0,256 ton/ha-1 + KCl 0,162 ton/ha-1), P1 = Kompos kotoran sapi 25% (4,556 ton/ha-1) + Paitan 75% (3,876 ton/ha-1), P2 = Kompos kotoran sapi 50% (9,113 ton/ha-1) + Paitan 50% (2,584 ton/ha-1), P3 = Kompos kotoran sapi 75% (13,669 ton/ha-1) + Paitan 25% (1,292 ton/ha-1), P4 = Kompos kotoran sapi 100% (18,226 ton/ha-1), P5= Paitan 100% (5,168 ton/ha-1). Pengamatan pertumbuhan dilakukan pada 20, 40 dan 60 HST. Parameter yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun pertanaman, jumlah bunga, jumlah bakal buah, jumlah buah panen per tanaman, bobot segar buah per tanaman, dan analisis kimia tanah. Analisis data menggunakan analisis ragam dengan menggunakan uji F pada taraf 5%. Apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata antar perlakuan maka dilakukan uji BNT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman tomat menggunakan kompos kotoran sapi dan paitan berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah, luas daun, bobot basah daun, bobot basah batang, bobot basah akar, bobot kering daun, bobot kering batang, bobot kering akar, jumlah buah pertanaman dan bobot segar buah per tanaman, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman. Penanaman tomat dengan perlakuan pupuk anorganik (P0) menghasilkan hasil bobot segar buah tomat sebesar 341,7 g/tan dan perlakuan kompos kotoran sapi 75% dan paitan 25% (P3) menghasilkan hasil bobot segar buah tomat sebesar 419,83 g/tan lebih tinggi disbanding perlakuan yang lain. Dari penelitian ini dengan pengaplikasian pupuk anorganik, kompos kotoran sapi dan paitan secara umum menunjukkan adanya peningkatan residu tertinggal dalam tanah seperti persentase N total, P dan K. Persentase residu N yang lebih tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P4, persentase residu P yang lebih tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P5 dan persentase residu K yang lebih tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P4.

English Abstract

Tomato plant is one of a very potential horticultural commodities to be developed because it had high economic value and have a large export potential. The problem often occured by tomato growers is the high price of inorganic fertilizers. In addition, the use of inorganic fertilizers continuously with a higher doses than recommendation will have negative impact that declining levels of soil fertility. This research has purposed to know the influence of doses of compost cow manure and compost granting paitan to the growth and yield of tomato and know the comparison of growth and yield of tomato production between applications the combination of compost cow manure compared to paitan and inorganic fertilizer applications. The hypothesis that proposed in this research is there any influence of compost cow manure and paitan to the yield of tomatoes and the provision of sorts of fertilizer and composition of corresponding organic can show growth and the result of the seed tomatoes are better than the plants that given with inorganic fertilizer. The research was conducted in August until November 2012 at boarding schools, Bahrul Maghfiroh, Jl. Joyo Agung number 2 Tlogomas, Malang. with an elevation of the 429 - 667 mdpl and temperature range between 22,2°C – 24,5°C. The tools used in this research are hoe, sickle, knives, ruler, big bucket, meter, scales, tray, and oven. Material that is required in this research are tomato local seed varieties of Karina, inorganic fertilizers such as Urea (45% N), SP36 (36% P2O5), KCl (60% K2O), paitan, compost cow manure, organic pestiside, and stake. This research used randomized block design with 6 treatment and 4 replications, there are P0 = inorganic fertilizers (urea 0,526 ton/ha-1 + SP36 0,256 ton/ha-1 + KCl 0,162 ton/ha-1), P1 = compost cow manure 25% (4,556 ton/ha-1) + Paitan 75% (3,876 ton/ha-1), P2 = compost cow manure 50% (9,113 ton/ha-1) + Paitan 50% (2,584 ton/ha-1), P3 = compost cow manure 75% (13,669 ton/ha-1) + Paitan 25% (1,292 ton/ha-1), P4 = compost cow manure 100% (18,226 ton/ha-1), P5= Paitan 100% (5,168 ton/ha-1). Observation growth were on 20, 40 and 60 dap. The parameters that observed high plants, number of leaves per plant, the number of flower, the number flower that becoming fruit, the number of fruit harvest per plants, weights of fresh fruit per plants, and soil chemical analysis. The data will be analyzed with analysis of variant in probably 5% and continued with Least Significant Different (LSD) in probably 5%. The results showed that planting tomatoes using compost cow manure combine with paitan has significant effect on the number of paitan leaves, the number of flowers, the number of fruit, leaf area, fresh weight of leaf, fresh weight of stems, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of leaves, dry weight of stem, dry weight of root, number of fruit per plant and weight of fresh fruit per plant. Planting tomatoes with treatment of inorganic fertilizers (P0) has fresh weight yield of tomato 341,7 gram per plant and treatment 75% compost cow manure treatment and 25% paitan (P3) has fresh weight of tomato fruit 419,83 g/tan is higher than other treatments. The result of this research with applying inorganic fertilizers, compost cow manure and paitan showed an increase the soil nutrients such as a percentage of total N, P and K. Percentage higher N is present on the treatment of the P4, the percentage of P higher at treatment of the P5 and the percentage of higher K is on the treatment of the P4.
