Indonesian Abstract

Akhir abad 21, iklim bumi diprediksi mengalami kenaikan suhu udara rata-rata 2–4 °C (IPCC 2007). Efek pemanasan global mengondisikan peningkatan suhu malam lebih besar dan cepat daripada peningkatan suhu siang . (Kukla dan Karl, 1993; Easterling et al., 1997). Peng et al. (2004) menyatakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan suhu malam hari sekitar 1,13°C pada periode 25 tahun . P eningkat an suhu malam akan m eningkat k an respirasi tanaman, sehingga terjadi perombakan pada karbohidrat yang terakumulasi pada bulir padi sehingga produksi menurun. P e mberian pyraclostrobin yang berperan untuk menurunkan tingkat respirasi pada tanaman padi sangat diperlukan . Tujuan penelitian ialah m enguji efektivitas pemberian pyraclostrobin pada tingkat peningkatan suhu yang berbeda pada tanaman padi . Hipotesis penelitian ialah pada level peningkatan suhu yang berbeda (2°C dan 4°C), akan menurunkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi ; p emberian pyraclostrobin dapat mengurangi stres tanaman padi dari cekaman peningkatan suhu. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan September 2013 - Maret 2014, di Kebun Percobaan FP UB , desa Jatikerto . English Abstract

By the end of the 21st century, the earth’s climate is predicted to warm by an average of 2–4 °C (IPCC 2007). Global warming made the minimum (night) temperature increased was quicker and bigger than maximum (day) temperature (Kukla and Karl, 1993; Easterling et al., 1997). Peng et al . (2004) stated that was happened the increasing minimum (night) temperature about 1,13°C on 25 years periods. Increasing night temperature would increase the respiration, so the reorganizing of carbohydrate that be accumulated on the grain happened, so that reducing the yield. Pyraclostrobin application which contributed to reduce respiration rates on paddy was necessary. The goal of research is t o investigate the pyraclostrobin application effectiveness on difference temperature increase . The hypothesis is the difference of temperature increasing levels (2°C dan 4°C), would reduce the growth and yield on paddy ; p yraclostrobin application reducing stress on paddy from temperature increase. Research was conducted on September 2013 until Maret 2014, in University of Brawijaya Research Station on Jatikerto village . The tools were ruler, analyctical weights, oven, pots, thermo-hygrometer, SPAD, hitter lamp circuit, digital camera. The materials were IR-64 seeds , Urea, KCl, SP36 and pyraclostrobin BAS 5 . Research used completely randomised design with treatment were P 0 T 0 : pyraclostrobin 0 ppm – normal night temperature, P 400 T 0 : pyraclostrobin 400 ppm - normal night temperature, P 0 T 2 : pyraclostrobin 0 ppm - 2 ⁰ C temperature increase , P 400 T 2 : pyraclostrobin 400 ppm - 2 ⁰ C
