Indonesian Abstract

Kekurangan air pada tanaman yang diikuti berkurangnya air pada daerah perakaran berakibat pada aktivitas fisiologis tanaman. Taiz dan Zeiger (1998) menyatakan bahwa dengan pengaplikasian pyraclostrobin dapat menunda pemasakan daun lebih awal dengan cara memperpanjang aktifitas fotosintesis dari jaringan tanaman dan meningkatkan efek toleran tanaman terhadap cekaman. Pyraclostrobin ialah salah satu bahan aktif dari golongan strobirulin yang dapat memberikan efek toleran terhadap cekaman pada fase pertumbuhan tanaman seperti cekaman suhu, air dan kekeringan. Penggunaan tanaman sawi hijau (B rassica juncea .L) diharapkan dapat menjadi indikator yang responsif pada perlakuan pyraclostrobin terhadap cekaman air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mempelajari sejauh mana agensia pyraclostrobin dapat membantu tanaman menghadapi stress air. Hipotesis penelitian ini ialah Aplikasi pyraclostrobin dapat mengurangi stress air pada tanaman sawi hijau (B rassica juncea L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan Oktober 2013 di Kebun Percobaan Jatikerto Universitas Brawijaya Malang dengan ketinggian ± 303 m dpl dengan media tanah pada suhu rata-rata 28°C. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial. Penelitian ini terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, faktor pertama ialah pemberian dosis pyraclostrobin (P) dan faktor kedua ialah pemberian dosis air (A) (cekaman air). Sehingga diperoleh 12 kombinasi (P0A1 = tanpa pyraclo s trbin + ¼ kapasitas lapang, P0A2 = tanpa pyraclosrobin + ½ kapasitas lapang, P0A3 = tanpa pyraclostrobin + kapasitas lapang, P1A1 = pyraclostrobin 0,25 ppm + ¼ kapasitas lapang, P1A2 = pyraclostrobin 0,25 ppm + ½ kapasitas lapang, P1A3 = pyraclostrobin 0,25 ppm + kapasitas lapang, P2A1 = pyraclostrobin 0,50 ppm + ¼ kapasitas lapang, P2A2 = pyraclostrobin 0,50 ppm + ½ kapasitas lapang, P2A3 = pyraclostrobin 0,50 ppm + kapasitas lapang, P3A1 = pyraclostrobin 1 ppm + ¼ kapasitas lapang, P3A2 = pyraclostrobin 1 ppm + ½ kapasitas lapang, P3A3 = pyraclostrobin 1 ppm + kapasitas lapang ). Pengamatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Pengamatan Pertumbuhan dan (2) Pengamatan Panen. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah uji dengan taraf 5 %. Apabila dalam analisis ragam terdapat beda nyata, maka dilakukan uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) dengan taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sidik ragam diketahui interaksi antara perlakuan dosis pyraclostrobin dengan pemberian siraman air pada parameter panjang tanaman umur 7 hst. Namun dominasi stress air terdapat pada hasil, sehingga pyraclostrobin belum dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap stress air. Saran dari peneliti untuk penelitian selanjutnya ialah untuk mempertahankan kadar air dalam perlakuan stress air pada media tanam sebaiknya dilakukan pengukuran secara berkala dengan cara menimbang media tanam setiap hari dan penanaman tanaman sawi hijau pada dataran rendah dapat dilakukan, namun diperlukan naungan untuk men

English Abstract

Water deficiency followed by reducing of water in root zone has effects on the physiological activity. Taiz amd Zeiger (1998) stated that pyraclostrobin application can delay the ripening leaves earlier by extending the photosynthetic activity of the plant tissue and enhances the effect of plants tolerant to stress. Pyraclostrobin is one of active compound of strobirulin that can provide tolerances to the effects of stress on plant growth phase as temperature stress, water and drought. Use of green cabbage ( Brassica juncea L.) was expected to be a responsif indicator on pyraclostrobin treatment to water stress. The purpose of this research is to study the extent to which agents pyraclostrobin can help plants deal with water stress. The hypothesis of this research is pyraclostrobin applications can reduce water stress in green mustard ( Brassica juncea L.) The experiment was conducted in September and October 2013 in the Experimental Garden Jatikerto University of Brawijaya, Malang by altitude ± 303 m above sea level and the soil media at the average temperature of 28° C. The method used in this study was randomized block design (RBD) factorial. This study there were 12 combinations of treatments and 3 replications, the first factor is pyraclostrobin dossage (P) and the second factor is the water dossage (A) (water stress). Thus obtained 12 combinations (P0A1 = without pyraclostrobin + ¼ field capacity, without pyraclosrobin P0A2 = + ½ field capacity, without pyraclostrobin + P0A3 = field capacity, P1A1 = 0.25 ppm pyraclostrobin + ¼ field capacity, P1A2 = 0.25 ppm pyraclostrobin + ½ field capacity, P1A3 = 0.25 ppm pyraclostrobin + field capacity, P2A1 = 0.50 ppm pyraclostrobin + ¼ field capacity, P2A2 = 0.50 ppm pyraclostrobin + ½ field capacity, P2A3 = 0.50 ppm pyraclostrobin + field capacity, P3A1 = pyraclostrobin 1 ppm + ¼ field capacity, P3A2 = 1 ppm pyraclostrobin + ½ field capacity, P3A3 = 1 ppm pyraclostrobin + field capacity). Observation was conducted in this study including : (1) Growth and (2) Yield. Data was analyzed by using ANOVA 5% level. If there were significanltly different, then tested by using LSD (Least Significant Difference) with 5% level. Based on ANOVA was known interaction between pyraclostrobin dossage and watering on plant height at 7 Day After Planting. However, the dominance of water stress there is on results, so that pyraclostrobin isn’t able to provide a positive influence on water stress. Suggestion from researchers for further research is to maintain water levels in the treatment of water stress on the growing media should be measured periodically by weighing the growing media every day and planting green cabbage at lowlands needed shade to avoid direct impact of sun exposure. Control of Plant Pest Organisms is suggested to use a biological pesticide Beuveria bassiana , by applications 1 mg.plant -1 can suppress development of pest.
