Indonesian Abstract

Tanaman Durian Termasuk Dalam Famili Bombaceae Yang Dikenal Sebagai Buah Tropis Basah Asli Indonesia. Di Indonesia, Masih Sedikit Buah Durian Lokal Yang Bermutu Tinggi Yang Dijual Dipasaran. Permintaan Buah Durian Yang Tinggi Tidak Diimbangi Dengan Produksi Yang Memadai (Anonimus, 2010) Telah Meningkatkan Impor Durian Dengan Trend Impor Tumbuh 5% Per Tahun (Anonimus, 2012). Untuk Menjaga Agar Produktivitas Tetap Tinggi Diperlukan Adanya Kegiatan Pemuliaan Tanaman Untuk Menyediakan Kultivar-Kultivar Unggul Durian Berdaya Hasil Tinggi Dan Disukai Konsumen. Salah Satu Program Pemuliaan Tanaman Adalah Menghasilkan Kultivar Yang Baru Antara Durian Yang Berbeda. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Antara Lain Yang Pertama Untuk Untuk Mengetahui Keragaman Fenotip Pada 18 Tanaman Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) Hasil Persilangan Durio Zibethinus Dan Durio Kutejensis. Kedua Untuk Mengetahui Nilai Kemiripan Pada 18 Tanaman Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) Hasil Persilangan Durio Zibethinus Dan Durio Kutejensis . Hipotesis Yang Diajukan Pada Penelitian Ini Antara Lain Yang Pertama, Diduga Terdapat Keragaman Dan Pada 18 Tanaman Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) Hasil Persilangan Durio Zibethinus Dan Durio Kutejensis. Kedua Diduga Terdapat Beberapa Nilai Kemiripan Dari 18 Tanaman Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) Hasil Persilangan Durio Zibethinus Dan Durio Kutejensis. Penelitian Dilaksanakan Di Kebun Percobaan Jatikerto, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, Jawa Timur. Kebun Percobaan Jatikerto Berada Pada Ketinggian 303 M Dpl. Suhu Rata-Rata 23 – 26 0c, Curah Hujan Sebesar 120 Mm Per Bulan. Penelitian Dilaksanakan Pada April - Juni 2013. Penelitian Ini Dilakukan Dengan Metode Deskriptif, Yaitu Dengan Cara Pengamatan Karakter Vegetatif (Karakterisasi) Kemudian Menjabarkan Secara Deskriptif. Karakterisasi Menggunakan Acuan Ipgri (International Plant Genetic Research Institute) Seri Durian Tahun 2007. Data Karakterisasi Untuk Karakter Kualitatif Dikelompokkan Menurut Nilai Kemiripannya Dengan Analisis Kluster, Sedangkan Karakter Kuantitatif Dihitung Keragamannya Dengan Menghitung Standard Deviasi Dan Koefisien Keragaman. Pengamatan Meliputi Karakter Kuantitatif: Tinggi Tanaman (Cm), Tinggi Batang (Cm), Lingkar Batang (Cm), Diameter Tajuk (Cm), Panjang Daun (Cm), Lebar Daun (Cm). Karakter Kualitatif: Permukaan Batang, Bentuk Canopi, Percabangan Tanaman, Warna Daun Bagian Atas, Warna Daun Bagian Bawah, Kerapatan Daun, Posisi Daun, Bentuk Daun, Bentuk Ujung Daun, Bentuk Pangkal Daun, Bentuk Tepi Daun. Data Karakter Kualitatif Dianalisis Dengan Analisis Cluster Dengan Software Mvsp Versi 3.1. Input Data Dengan Data Biner Menggunakan Koefisien Kemiripan Sederhana (Simple Matching Coefficient). Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Terdapat Keragaman 18 Tanaman Durian Yang Ditunjukkan Pada Karakter Tinggi Tanaman, Tinggi Batang, Lingkar Batang, Diameter Tajuk, Panjang Daun Dan Lebar Daun. Terdapat Sebelas Kelompok Nilai Kemiripan Pada 18 Tanaman Durian : 100%, 96%, 93%, 91%, 90%, 87%, 86%, 85%, 84%, 82%, 81%. Pada Persilangan Antara Durio Zibethinus Durio Kutejensis ( ♂ ) Dan Durio Kutejensis ( ♀ ) >< Durio Zibethinus ( ♂ ) Semua Individu Tanaman Memiliki Kemiripan Pada Tetua Kutejensis.

English Abstract

Durian Belongs To The Family Of Bombaceae, The Plants Is Suggested Originated From The Tropical Forest Of Indonesia. In Indonesia, Local Durian Types Have Not Been In A Good Cultivation Yet, Resulted A Few Highquality Available In The Market. The Consumption Of Durian Of Indonesian Is High But The Production Is Low Caused The Import Of This Fruit Is High (Anonimus, 2010), Approximately Around 5% Per Year (Anonimus, 2012). ). To Keep Productivity Remains High It Is Necessary To Plant Breeding Activities To Provide Superior Durian Cultivars For High Yield And Preferred By Consumers. In Order To Improve The Fruit Yield Of Durian It Is Necessary To Do Some Agricultural Treatments And Breeding Programs. One Of The Breeding Programs Is The Creation Of New Cultivar From Crossing Between Different Durian Types. First, This Study Aims To Determine The Diversity Of Phenotypes In 18 Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) From Crosses Durio Zibethinus And Durio Kutejensis. Second, To Determine The Similarity Value At 18 Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) From Crosses Durio Zibethinus And Durio Kutejensis . The Hypothesis Proposed In This Study Include The First, There Is A Diversity Of Thought And The 18 Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) From Crosses Durio Zibethinus And Durio Kutejensis. Second, There Are Allegedly Some Similarity Value Of 18 Plants Durian ( Durio Zibethinus Murr.) From Crosses Durio Zibethinus And Durio Kutejensis. The Experiment Was Done At The Jatikerto Research Station Of Brawijaya University, The Altitude Of The Station Is About 303 M Asl. The Temperature Around From 23 – 26 0c, With The Rainfall Of 120 Mm Per Month. The Experiment Was Conducted In April – June 2013. This Study Was Conducted Using Descriptive Method. The Vegetative Characters Of The 18 Progenies Were Investigated. Characterization Using According To The Ipgri Durian Series 2007. Characterization Data For Qualitative Characters Are Grouped According To The Similarity Values Cluster Analysis, While The Quantitative Character Variability Calculated By Counting Standard Deviation And Coefficient Of Variance. Observations Included Quantitative Character: Plant Height (Cm), Stem Height (Cm), Trunk Circumference (Cm), Header Diameter (Cm), Leaf Length (Cm), Leaf Width (Cm). Qualitative Character: Trunk Surface, Shape Canopi, Branches Plant, Leaf Color (Top And Bottom), Leaf Density, Leaf Position, Leaf Shape, Leaf Tip Shape, Shape The Base Of The Leaf, Leaf Edge Shape. Qualitative Character Data Analyzed By Cluster Analysis With Mvsp Software Version 3.1. Input Data With Binary Data Using A Simple Similarity Coefficient (Simple Matching Coefficient). The Results Showed That There Were 18 Durian Diversity Shown In The Observation Variables Plant Height, Stem Height, Trunk Circumference, Crown Diameter, Leaf Length And Leaf Width. There Were 11 Groups In The Similarity Value Of 18 Durian : 100%, 96%, 93%, 91%, 90%, 87%, 86%, 85%,84%,82%,81%. Crossing Between Durio Zibethinus ( ♀ ) X Durio Kutejensis ( ♂ ) And Durio Kutejensis ( ♀ ) X Durio Zibethinus ( ♂ ) All Plant Similar With D urio Kutejensis.
