Abstract
Salah satu wujud dari pelayanan kefarmasian adalah dengan menggunakan Patient Medication Record. Patient Medication Record adalah catatan komprehensif dari pengobatan yang dijalani oleh pasien baik resep dan obat non-resep, produk herbal, dan suplemen diet lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran penggunaan Patient Medication Record di apotek Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling untuk menentukan berapa jumlah sampel yang digunakan per-kecamatan di Kota Malang. Didapat 57 apotek yang digunakan untuk penelitian dari 108 apotek yang telah sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan patient medication record di apotek Kota Malang masih rendah yaitu hanya terdapat 33% responden yang menggunakan patient medication record. Responden yang menggunakan patient medaication record menyatakan mendapat masalah dalam pelaksanaannya dan kendala terbanyak yaitu keterbatasan waktu dalam pelaksanaan patient medication record yang dinyatakan oleh 10 responden. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu penggunaan patient medication record yang dilakukan oleh apoteker di Kota Malang belum banyak digunakan.
English Abstract
One manifestation of pharmacy services is the use of Patient Medication Record. Patient Medication Record is a comprehensive record of the treatment undergone by patients both prescription and non-prescription medications, herbal products and other dietary supplements. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Patient Medication Record in several pharmacies at the City of Malang. This study used cluster random sampling technique to determine the number of samples used per-districts in the city of Malang. 57 pharmacies were acquired used for the study from 108 pharmacies that are in accordance with the criteria of the study. The results of this study indicate that the use of patient medication record at pharmacies in the City of Malang are still low, which only 33% of respondents who use patient medication record. As many as 33% of respondents who use patient medication record states have problems in their implementation and the most constraints the use of patient medication record is the limited time that stated by 10 respondents. The conclusion that can be drawn was the use of patient medication records conducted by pharmacists in the City of Malang had not been widely used.
